Fellowships information session for underclassmen

A “fellowship” can mean many things. Fellowships and Advanced Studies supports students in applying for nationally competitive awards that are as simple as a scholarship to support your Mizzou studies or as ambitious as a fully-funded opportunity to earn a doctorate abroad in select social-impact fields.

All fellowships share one common element though: a desire to support the development of students along a given trajectory. Some awards are very selective about which trajectories they support. Others are far broader. There is a fellowship out there for almost anyone, regardless of your major or year in school.

To learn more about what opportunities are available to you, visit a Fellowships and Advanced Studies information session for freshmen and sophomores.

In the session, we’ll explore the major types of fellowship awards, how to build a convincing trajectory for yourself at Mizzou, and how to develop mentor relationships with people who can vouch for your candidacy for these awards.

All sessions are identical. Please register for the time that works best for you.
