Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The programme makes awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at UK universities.
An applicant must be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country and intend to return to their home country for a minimum of two years after the Chevening Award term. Additional eligibility requirements are listed here on the program’s website.
A Chevening Scholarship comprises payment of tuition and fees, travel to and from your country of residence, arrival allowance, cost of entry clearance (visa), thesis/dissertation allowance, departure allowance, and a monthly living stipend. It is a fully-funded award opportunity.
