The Knight-Hennessy Scholars program brings together a multidisciplinary cohort of Stanford graduate students dedicated to finding solutions to the world’s greatest challenges. Scholars may pursue graduate degrees in any of Stanford’s 125+ graduate degree programs.
Citizens of all countries who have earned an undergraduate degree within a certain period of time are eligible to apply. Interested candidates should review the complete eligibility criteria on the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program website.
Applicants must apply to the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program and to a graduate program of interest.
Scholars will receive funding for tuition and fees and a generous living stipend to cover associated academic expenses, room and board, and personal expenses.
Applying for the Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program does not require a campus endorsement from the University of Missouri. However, we strongly encourage you to meet with a Fellowships Office advisor by June 1 of the year you intend to apply. An advisor will help you assess your candidacy and provide further insight on the various application components.
Fellowships Office staff are available in July and August to review drafts of your application materials.
