MU has pre-health advisers who assist students prepare for professional health care programs. We will work with you to plan your academic coursework, discuss your health care experiences, and assist with the application process. There’s no “right” way to prepare for these programs; working with an adviser can help you to individualize the process.
Advising Services
Appointments
MedOpp advising appointments will be available for scheduling again starting April 18. Please use MU Connect starting on April 18 to schedule an appointment with Dr. Darcy Holtgrave.
Electronic Communication
All MedOpp students receive communication from the MedOpp Advisers through a weekly electronic newsletter.
Whether you are now just beginning to explore medicine as a career or whether you have already completed the exploring step and know where you are going, it is important for you to self-enroll in the MedOpp Advising Program so that you become known to us and join our e-mail list and receive access to the MedOpp Advising Program Canvas site. Please email medopp@missouri.edu to join.
